Holliday Tyson trained as a midwife in Britain from 1979-1982. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Thames Valley University in England. Holliday practiced midwifery in Africa, India and in rural and urban Ontario, Canada. Indeed, she was a founding faculty member of the Ontario Midwifery Education Program. Holliday has also been President and Registrar of the College of Midwives. She currently lives in Toronto.
