In this extended version of thie original film Birth Day, Naoli Vinaver, a Mexican midwife has added background details about her lovely home water birth of her third child. We see her at work as a midwife (her own baby with her); hear from her family and meet her own midwife, who talks about her work. There is footage of the birth of the placenta including the making of a 'placenta print', and a delightful segment showing the intimacy between Naoli, her husband and her children as the labour and birth unfold. The impact the origninal video has had in the wider sphere is also described.
