The prices on the web site are in Australian dollars and the total price of the goods in your shopping basket, including shipping, will be displayed before you need to hit the "send" button. To work out the approximate US$ value of the total order, multiply the amount shown by the exchange rate to get the US$ equivalent. Your bank will give you the day's rate (it fluctuates a bit each day) and at the present time the rate is AUD$1.00 = US$0.93c.

For example:
  if your total order is $150 (Australian dollars) multiply by 0.927902 = US$139.

When we receive your order, we will process the payment in Australian dollars. Your American credit card company will automatically convert the amount for you using that day's exchange rate and it will appear, in the usual way, on your credit card statement in US$. Easy!

CUSTOMS DUTY

Birth International warehouses the majority of its stock in Sydney, Australia, and most orders are shipped from there. Customers in other countries may, therefore, be asked to pay import duties, and perhaps local taxes, on their order when it arrives into their country. Each country sets its own rates for these duties, however most of the items in our catalogue will have no duty payable, as they will be zero rated.

If you are asked to pay customs or import duties, please refer to the Tariff number listed on your invoice or packing slip. Quoting this Tariff number will result in the correct duty being charged, if at all.
