RECEIVING YOUR ORDER Birth International warehouses its stock in Sydney, Australia, and all orders are shipped from there. Customers in other countries may, therefore, be asked to pay VAT and import duties, on their order when it arrives into their country. Most shipments will arrive directly to your door (or you will be notified by your Post Office of a parcel awaiting collection by you) and will not be subjected to any further charges. If however, your parcel is held for the payment of local taxes (VAT) or customs duty you should be notified by the holding agency (ParcelForce or Royal Mail in the UK, for example) and you will need to pay these before your parcel will be delivered. The majority of our shipments arrive without these delays and our customers therefore have the benefit of paying less for their goods than they would by buying locally in their own country. With all larger orders, separate details of the shipment is sent via letter to the receiver, giving details of the tracking number, invoices involved etc to facilitate parcel collection. Any customer that is charged a service fee for parcel clearance (not the VAT or Customs Duty) can apply to have this reimbursed by Birth International - please save all documentation including receipts for any payments made and fax it to either +44 1959 525800 (UK) or +61 2 9564 2388 (Australia). If you have any questions regarding:
Please send an email to: accounts@birthinternational.com Include as much information as you can - order date or purchase order number, invoice number etc. We look forward to assisting you as much as we can. |
