Lactessa was developed to assist health professionals demonstrate practical aspects of breastfeeding. Her head and body are weighted to make her feel like a newborn, and her moveable arms, legs and head allow easy demonstrations of breastfeeding positions. Her three dimensional mouth and tongue are deep enough to insert a finger to show sucking actions, and she can be used in conjunction with the breast model to show nipple placement in the mouth. Lactessa is 40 cms long, and surface washable.
