Howes Birth Mirror
The 'Howes Birth Mirror' is a new design created by midwife Virginia Howes, and draws on her experience of helping women to give birth in various positions, locations (home, hospital and water births) and low light settlings. A mirror is very useful to monitor the baby as it begins its descent, however plastic mirrors often split due to being cleaned at high temperatures, large mirrors to cumbersome, compact mirrors are too small and most are breakable.
This mirror is unique:
- 80 mms wide x 270 mms long from handle to end
- Angled for easy viewing
- Made from stainless steel
- Ideal for use in water
- Can be sterilized
- Smooth lines with no areas for germs to multiply in
- All edges are rounded for safety
- Unbreakable from normal wear and tear
- Comes in its own suede drawstring bag.
